Formax Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Formax ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Formax mobile application (the "App"), an AI-powered workout form analyzer.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and profile details (such as your name or username). You can also sign in with Google or Apple, in which case we receive basic profile information from those providers.
Workout videos: When you record a workout for analysis, the video is used to generate your form feedback. See "How Your Videos Are Handled" below for exactly where it is stored.
Usage data: We collect anonymous usage and analytics data (such as app opens, screens viewed, and features used) to understand how the App is used and to improve it.
Subscription status: Purchases and subscriptions are handled through the App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status but do not collect or store your payment card details.

2. How Your Videos Are Handled

Your workout videos are kept on your device so you can play them back without a server round-trip. A copy of the video is also uploaded to our secure cloud storage so that our AI can analyze your form and so we can review analysis quality and improve the App. We do not make your videos public, and we do not sell them. You can delete the copy stored on your device at any time, and your videos are removed when you delete your account.

3. How We Use Your Information

To analyze your workout form and generate personalized feedback using AI inference.
To manage your account and subscription.
To improve the App, review analysis quality, and troubleshoot issues.
To prevent fraud and abuse of our services.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

AI and cloud providers: Your workout videos are processed by trusted third-party cloud infrastructure and AI inference providers to generate your analysis. Their privacy terms apply to this processing.
Analytics providers: Anonymous usage data helps us understand how the App is used. It is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
App stores and payment processors: Subscriptions are managed by the App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the App's account settings. When you do, we remove your associated data, including stored videos, within 30 days. You can also delete videos stored on your device at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

You can access and update your profile information in the App, delete videos stored on your device, and delete your account and associated data. If you have questions about your data or wish to exercise any privacy rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
